Global Source Expo Ltd. is an international trade partnership company. This policy explains our approach to cancellations and returns in international trade.
LAST UPDATED: MAY 1, 2026Global Source Expo Ltd. is an international trade partnership company, not a traditional B2B marketplace. We manage end-to-end trade relationships between verified global partners and international buyers. Please read this policy in that context.
You may withdraw from any trade discussion at any stage before a formal trade agreement is signed without penalty. No commitment or fee applies until a trade agreement is formally documented by all parties.
Once a trade agreement is signed, cancellation terms are governed by that specific agreement. As a general framework:
Our team is always available to work with all parties when a cancellation becomes necessary. We take a collaborative approach to finding the most practical resolution.
Where a cancellation is caused by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of either party, including natural disasters, government actions, port closures or international sanctions, we will work with all parties to find the most equitable resolution possible.
Returns in international B2B trade are complex and costly. Our approach is always to resolve disputes through negotiation first. Preferred remedies in order are:
If goods do not conform to the agreed specification the buyer must notify Global Source Expo Ltd. in writing within 14 calendar days of the goods arriving at the destination port or delivery address. Notification must include:
Our team will engage promptly with both parties to assess the situation and work toward a fair resolution.
Where a return is agreed our team will coordinate all return logistics including documentation, freight, customs clearance and confirmation of receipt. Return costs will be allocated based on the circumstances and the terms of the individual trade agreement.
We strongly encourage all buyers to request samples before committing to a full commercial order. Our team coordinates sample shipments as part of the pre-agreement process and approved samples form the quality acceptance baseline for the transaction. Sampling costs are determined through mutual negotiation between the buyer and the Global Partner prior to dispatch.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved through direct negotiation the mechanism specified in the individual trade agreement will apply. In the absence of a specific mechanism, disputes will be subject to the international laws and the parties agree to seek resolution through mediation before initiating any formal legal proceedings.
For any questions about this policy, to notify us of a quality dispute or to discuss a cancellation or return please contact us through our website at www.globalsourceexpoltd.com. All formal notifications should be made in writing. We will acknowledge all notifications within two working days.
